Living with diabetes presents a host of challenges and lifestyle changes – but you don’t have to navigate them alone. If you or a loved one is living with type 1 diabetes or a related condition, it can be helpful to hear from others who share your experience. Join Parkview’s endocrinology experts each month for helpful group discussions and insights on how to manage type 1 diabetes.

Cost: Free

Diabetes Support Group (Kendallville)

Join our monthly dietitian-led Diabetes Support Group, which is designed to empower individuals with diabetes through education, community, and practical strategies for healthier living. Each session features expert guest speakers from diverse medical specialties, including weight management, optometry, wound care, pharmacy, and exercise physiology—who provide valuable insights on preventing complications, optimizing self‑care, and improving overall well‑being.

Participants will receive evidence‑based nutrition guidance, learn new skills, and get questions answered in a supportive, encouraging environment. This group is open to anyone looking to better manage their diabetes and connect with others on a similar journey.
