This monthly series – led by Ali Thomas, RDN, LD, community outreach dietitian, and Cole Banter, greenhouse technician – focuses on produce that’s in season or being grown in the Parkview Greenhouse. In May, we’ll talk rhubarb: growth-to-harvest, nutritional value, and ways to add rhubarb to dishes.

Ready to get your garden growing? Students from Fort Wayne Community Schools AMP Lab, in partnership with Parkview Community Greenhouse & Learning Kitchen, will share vegetable and herb seedlings, as well as ready-to-grow potted plants with the community for free! Students will be on site to answer questions and offer growing tips. Whether you’re planting your very first pot or adding a few more friends to your garden, we’d love to see you there. Plants will be available while supplies last, so come early and leave with something green!

Parkview's lactation consultants help pumping or breastfeeding mothers reach their breastfeeding goals with free support. This group allows for a drop-in style of scheduling – no need to make an appointment, just come during our available times.
